On Thursday of this week at 7:30 pm, I was in Prayer, a prayer that takes place every Thursday at this time mentioned here in my congregation, while I was praying I was thinking about this passage and moved by it I am writing this article so that it somehow touches your life, I know that here is a Crypto Brokerage and it may seem strange to write about Jesus, where people have their minds stuffed with insights, human predictions, predictable AIs, expectations of wealth, speculations, market manipulations and also insomnia, anxieties, addictions etc, but look what my Jesus says to you:
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world gives it. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27.
Please, at no time am I criticizing or speaking badly of investments, I am just bringing a word of comfort to your soul, I know what land I am treading on! I am also a sardine investor, I am just not investing now because I am unemployed.
Let's continue, this title as vine was taken from the words of Jesus, read:
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word which I have spoken to you." John 15:1-3
As we can read our Jesus uses figurative language of a vine:
Tree that produces grapes, and these grapes harvested at harvest time are transformed into grape juice after being crushed in the wine press.
Just like this tree, Jesus says that we are its branches, and these have to produce fruit, and bringing them to this day, what are these fruits?
"If anyone does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I do not call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." John 15:6-15.
As we can see, I highlighted in bold the points that are the fruits I am talking about, which we must practice until His Second Coming, yes, Jesus promised that He would come a second time, see:
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, would I have told you? I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:1-3
