I know there are people who are still very concerned about the vulnerability of the #coldcardhardwarewallet , but let’s also put it in context: the CEO of Coldcard was constantly criticizing all the other wallets. He changed his "open" code because he didn’t want another wallet to use it, and that’s what caused the vulnerability. I mean, his #Exploit was NEGLIGENCE on the part of the COLDCARD executives. 💪Now, there are still other wallets—I'm not going to name brands—but we know there are other options. And yes, this incident leaves us shaken, not as much as what happened with FTX or with Uncle Saylor selling $BTC , but even so, anyone who wants to flee the crypto world should think... -Do you think having just a few bucks, dollars, or euros stored in the bank is the best option?-- consider that inflation is very high and even if they say they control it. -Do you trust your country’s government? Now let’s also remember that almost all countries are drowning in debt, and they keep raising taxes even just to try to save money. They’re even empowering many incompetent officials to issue fines or economic sanctions—officials who don’t even know the law and whose only assignment is... BRING IN MORE MONEY TO THE PUBLIC TREASURY. So even though we practically don’t have a safe place to shelter our money, whether it’s a little or a lot, the risk that tomorrow it will be worth less because of the decisions made by each government is much, much higher than the risk that #bitcoin , $ETH or $BCH will go to 0 dollars. That’s why I believe that even with this news, we have to keep going and learning in order to make the ecosystems of these projects secure—and to always stay alert and keep our self-custody devices updated. What do you think? I wish you a good night, and if anyone shares my opinion, don’t forget to like, follow me. And if anyone wants to and can, hahaha I’ll accept a bitcoin. Greetings and good night to everyone. "I love you all" 💪🎉🚀🌕 {spot}(ETHUSDT) {spot}(BCHUSDT) {spot}(BTCUSDT)

Security Reminder: Reports of a Coldcard Hardware Wallet Vulnerability We’re aware of public reports regarding a potential vulnerability affecting certain Coldcard hardware wallets, with claims that the issue may be related to wallet seed generation and may have contributed to the theft of approximately 594 BTC, valued at around $38 million at the time of reporting. At this stage, details are still developing, and users should rely on updates from the wallet manufacturer and trusted official sources for confirmed technical findings. What users should know: The reported issue appears to concern specific Coldcard wallet setups, not the broader crypto market as a whole. Early reports suggest the flaw may involve weakness in random seed generation, which is a critical part of wallet security. If confirmed, this could reduce the strength of wallet recovery phrases and increase the risk of unauthorized access. There is currently no indication that this issue is related to Binance account infrastructure. Suggested precautions for affected users: Review any official notices from Coldcard regarding impacted devices, firmware versions, or setup conditions. If you use a Coldcard wallet and suspect risk, consider moving funds to a newly generated wallet created in a verified secure environment. Double-check that your recovery phrase was generated safely and has never been exposed digitally. Stay alert for scams, fake recovery tools, or impersonators claiming to help recover funds. General security reminder: Self-custody offers users control over their assets, but it also means wallet setup and key generation must be handled with extreme care. Users should always keep firmware updated, verify official communications, and avoid relying on unverified third-party tools or social posts during a security incident. We encourage users to follow official announcements for the latest confirmed guidance. #coldcardhardwarewallet #SecurityAlert
