Yearn This wave of disruption is worth keeping a close eye on. Over the next
$YFI 24 hours, it has surged by more than 35%; open interest has also risen in sync by 25%+; the overall “funds + leverage” resonance is very strong.
The driving logic is actually pretty straightforward:
1) Real money is moving in—on-chain inflows are clearly ramping up;
2) The “leveraged returns” narrative has been reignited. The yvUSD loop strategy’s annualized figure has climbed to above 16%, and arbitrage traders are moving as soon as they hear the news;
3) Protocol-side catalysts—new staking mechanisms have gone live, and with Morpho curation’s collaboration, YFI has been pulled back into the spotlight from “old DeFi” status;
4) Market attention is flowing back again, and the beta of the old-school yield leaders is being repriced.
Current price is $1,981, with a market cap of only 70.98 million and 24H trading volume of 6.31 million. Compared with the circulating supply, the increase in OI is not small, which suggests this move is driven more by leverage than by spot absorption. Short-term volatility is likely to be amplified.
From a personal perspective: when narrative + capital + protocol upgrades resonate across three fronts, trends often run farther than expected—but don’t ignore this either: the more aggressively OI rises, the harsher the liquidation backlash can be during pullbacks. Chasing higher isn’t as good as waiting for a pullback to confirm support. Think through your position sizing and stop-loss before acting.
