$BABY As a crypto educator, it's my habit to keep researching different blockchain projects. Over the past few days, I've been spending time learning more about @BabylonLabs_io especially its vision around Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV), and one thing really caught my attention. This project isn't trying to change Bitcoin. Instead, it's focused on unlocking Bitcoin's true potential while allowing BTC holders to keep full control of their own coins.

Based on my research, Babylon was founded in 2022, and the BABY token launched alongside Babylon Genesis in April 2025.

The token has a total supply of 10B, with around 4.02B BABY currently in circulation.
The current price on 02 Aug 2026 is $0.01155.
Market Cap till 31 July 2026 is $52.12M.

$BABY is used for gas fees, governance, staking, and BTC co-staking.

Another interesting fact I found is that more than 56,800 BTC has already been staked on Babylon, which clearly shows the growing confidence of the community. Just think about it 56,800 BTC is an enormous amount.

I also believe #Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) could become one of the project's biggest innovations for expanding Bitcoin's real-world utility.

What impressed me the most is that Babylon doesn't rely on bridges or wrapped assets. Instead, it enables Bitcoin to be used while the owner keeps full custody of their BTC.

If the team continues delivering on its long-term vision, I truly believe Babylon has the potential to become one of the most important Bitcoin infrastructure projects in the near future.

Have you noticed?
