This time, for [幣安 Launchpool](https://www.binance.com/launchpool/PORTAL_BNB?ref=VU3NZ3AJ) PORTAL new coin mining, I also placed bets on both reward pools. Most of it was mined using the BNB I had previously accumulated, while FD was just a small fixed amount staked, which made it easier to calculate the actual return rate for full participation.
A fixed 1086.7397 FDUSD was staked, and a total of 4.6859 $PORTAL was mined.
After Portal started trading, the price was actually pretty good for the first 10 minutes, but then it dropped to around 2.x. Calculating the return rate, if:
🔸 Sold at the closing price 5 minutes after opening
Return rate = 1.356%, annualized rate ≈ 70%
🔸 Sold at the closing price 1 hour after opening
Return rate = 1.128%, annualized rate ≈ 58%
🔸 Sold at the closing price on the opening day
Return rate = 1.035%, annualized rate ≈ 54%
I also did a calculation for BNB. If converted using the final total staked amount, each BNB could mine about 2.38765 $PORTAL. Using the closing prices from five minutes and one hour after opening to calculate, the return rates come out to 1.81% and 1.51%, with annualized rates of about 94% and 78%, respectively.
I haven’t sold yet. Anyway, I’m treating it as free money, but seeing some experts online who managed to sell at 3.8 or 3.9 right at the start, I still really admire them.
