Binance recently listed contracts for Chinese tech giants 1. #Meituan (food delivery/local services) and 2. #KuaiShou (short video). Given their market dominance and fundamentals, is there any realistic potential for a 20x return on these assets over the next few years?
And answer is ....
The straightforward answer is no, the assets themselves do not have 20x potential in a few years. It is easy to see a new Binance listing and assume it has "moonshot" potential, but here is what is actually happening:
1. They are Traditional Stocks, Not Crypto Tokens
What Binance launched today (August 11, 2026) are not new cryptocurrency projects. They are USDT-margined perpetual futures contracts. This means Binance is simply allowing you to use your crypto (USDT) to bet on the price movements of real-world traditional stocks trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
2. The Market Cap Math Doesn't Work for 20x
In the crypto world, a meme coin with a $10 million market cap can easily 20x to $200 million. However, Meituan and Kuaishou are already established, multi-billion-dollar tech giants:
Meituan is already valued at roughly $90–$100 billion. A 20x increase would make it a $2 Trillion company—putting it in the same league as Apple, Nvidia, and Microsoft.
Kuaishou is valued at roughly $25–$30 billion. A 20x increase would push it to $500–$600 billion, making it larger than almost every traditional media and entertainment company on earth.
3. Leverage is the Only Way (But it's Risky)
Because these are mature stocks, they trade like traditional equities. They might move 20% to 50% in a great year. The only way a trader could theoretically make a 20x return on these Binance listings is by using high leverage (e.g., using 20x leverage on a 100% price move). However, using high leverage means that if the stock price drops even slightly, your entire position gets liquidated.
