Overnight oil ripped through $100, 10Y sat near 4.95%, hike odds went to ~70%+, US equities printed a fourth down day, and BTC/ETH folded with the tape.

$BTC is grinding $76.5k–$77.5k after getting rejected from the $80k–$81k zone. Not a collapse. A bid that keeps showing up and then getting sold.

$ETH is holding $2,440–$2,450 after slipping off the $2,500 handle. Same shape: weaker high, no panic flush, no leadership.

That’s the tell. When crude jumps 6%+ and the market starts pricing a 25bp hike into next week’s FOMC, BTC doesn’t invent its own narrative. It sits under the last breakdown and waits for CPI.
