#Bitcoin has never had two red Octobers in a row in more than a decade. It’s about to have its first. The only negative Octobers before 2025 were 2014 and 2018, and neither was consecutive. The month’s historical average is around +18%. That’s why they call it “Uptober”: 2021 closed at +39.9%, 2023 at +28.5%, and 2024 at +10.8%. This year it’s down 7.5%. But look at when it happened. The month was down 2.5%. Almost all the damage happened in the last three days. On Thursday, the $6.3 billion hack. Today, Intel fell 25%, Amazon 7%, and the Nasdaq a full 3.4%. Two blows in a row, and neither has anything to do with it being October. The 2025 red October also had its own culprit: the October 10 crash that wiped out the gains since the $126,000 high. Two red Octobers, two specific and different causes. That doesn’t mean seasonality is broken. It means it was never a mechanism. $BTC moves because of liquidity, interest rates, and the blows it takes. The calendar has nothing to do with it. Did you believe in Uptober? November starts tomorrow. Do you think anything will change? #bitcoin #Uptober #downtober {spot}(BTCUSDT)

Today, $BTC bounced back to $81,390, up nearly 2%. Looks like a recovery, right? Don’t pop the champagne just yet: it’s still down 4.2% for October, while October has averaged an 18.1% gain in previous years. This year is on track to be its worst October in six years. What stings even more is U.S. buyers: the Coinbase premium hasn’t been positive a single day this October, spot demand has been negative every day since October 14, and the bull market score has fallen from 90 to 60. A: Today’s green candle signals a real recovery. B: Americans aren’t buying, so even this rally is hollow. Which side are you on? $BTC $ETH $SOL #比特币 #Downtober #Coinbase

📉 October was supposed to be Bitcoin’s “month of gains,” but this year it could end lower for the second year in a row! 🔥 Data from Yahoo/CoinGlass: • October’s historical average gain is about 18.3%, with a median of around 12.7% • BTC is down more than 2% so far in October 2026 • After last October 10’s crash, another down month this year would mark the first time in over a decade that BTC has fallen in two consecutive Octobers • Bankless co-founder called this week the third week of “Downtober” 📊 Current snapshot: BTC is around $81K, the Fear & Greed Index is at 55 (leaning toward greed), and BTC and ETH spot ETFs saw combined net outflows of about $152 million on Friday. 🧠 My take: Historical seasonality isn’t a guarantee; macro is still the main driver—inflation data, rate-hike expectations, and a strengthening dollar are all weighing on risk assets. $80K is near-term psychological support, with $82.5K as resistance. 👉 Do you think Downtober will last through the end of the month, or will a rebound in the final two weeks turn things around? Every October, the crypto crowd chants “Uptober” like it’s New Year’s. But this year, $BTC is already down 2.5% in October. Add last October’s -3.7%, and it’s the first time in over a decade that October has flopped two years in a row. Bankless co-founder Hoffman changed his tune on Friday: “It’s the third week of Downtober.” Over the past 13 years, BTC has averaged an 18% gain in October, making it the month with the highest win rate—but the best thing about patterns is watching them get broken. Pick a side: A) Astrology is dead; seasonality is just survivorship bias. B) It’s only down 2%—there are still 13 days left in the month to stage a comeback. $ETH #Downtober

🚨 Could Bitcoin be headed for its first October decline in consecutive years in over a decade? According to data from CoinGlass cited by Yahoo Finance (Beijing time, 10/17 22:34): $BTC is down 2.48% so far this October, after falling 3.69% last October. Historically, October has averaged a gain of about 18.3%. This week, BTC briefly fell to around $80,000, its lowest level since September 18. Binance spot (Beijing time, 23:35): BTC $81,530 (24h -0.20%), $ETH $2,418 (24h -1.14%). My take: seasonality is just a statistic, not a rule. Whether Bitcoin can hold above $80,000 depends in part on ETF flows and the Fed’s rate decision at the end of the month. Managing position size matters more than guessing the direction. #比特币 #Downtober #Crypto Market ⚠️ This is not investment advice. DYOR.

October is barely halfway over, and BTC has plunged nearly 8% from its highs at the start of the month. Altcoins have been hit even harder, and the group chat has already switched from “Uptober” to “Downtober.” The September curse never showed up, but October has already slapped us in the face. No macro blowup, no ETF outflows—just a purely sentiment-driven selloff. The risk-reward for betting on a bounce around here looks decent, but don’t use leverage. Wait for a high-volume signal that the selloff is losing steam before making a move. $BTC $ETH #Uptober #Downtober

🎃 UPTOBER… or DOWntober? 👀 October has a reputation in crypto. Historically, many view it as an interesting month for BTC and the market… and that’s where the famous “Uptober” comes from. But wait… are we looking at a pattern worth paying attention to, or are we just trying to repeat a story because it looks nice on the chart? 😂 Because if we’re talking about probabilities, there’s also the possibility that October does exactly the opposite and turns into our beloved Downtober. 📊 History can provide context. ❌ But it guarantees absolutely nothing. The interesting question is: Do you think October’s historical behavior has any predictive value, or is it just market narrative? 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 Watch out for the Next Wave of Horror. It’s possible that tomorrow $XRP will rise on its own and push the others ahead with the renewal of its protocol, just like $SOL did a week ago. This could lead to $BTC a 88,000, or maybe just brush the 90,000 mark. In January, 90,000 was the resistance everyone was shouting to break. And the Terror began. In June, when everyone was marking an uptrend after the bottom of the fall, it dropped even further to 57,000. In August, when everyone was shouting for 50,000$, it surged by 40%. And now, everyone is shouting the end of the bear market. Maybe it won’t be as everyone expects—but the market is always ready to catch the unprepared. This isn’t about having the soul of a Bear or a Bull. It’s about analyzing every move and taking into account market manipulation—by those who can move large amounts of capital. #BitcoincuentametusplanesxD #Uptober #Downtober
