In Bitcoin Dominance, an important technical breakdown has occurred. The 58.83% support line of the symmetric triangle model, which formed over the past 9 months, has been broken to the downside, and dominance continues to trade below this level. Technically, this pattern suggests that capital may start shifting from Bitcoin to the altcoin market.
If this breakdown becomes sustainable and, in the coming months—especially the period from October to November to December—Bitcoin’s dominance falls to around 50%, it would not be surprising to see 5–10x performance gains across many altcoins. Especially for altcoins that have traded near the bottom for a long time, this process could mark the beginning of a new altcoin season.
Of course, no scenario is absolutely certain, and prices can always render a technical pattern invalid. However, the current structure is beginning to produce positive signals for altcoins in a way consistent with the cycles we have tracked for many years. Now, the most important question will be whether dominance can remain sustainably below 58.83%. If it does, the coming months may bring the rotation of capital in the crypto market that we have long expected.
