Last night I was looking at NVDA and caught myself doing something I usually try not to do.
Staring at the stock after it already moved.
That’s when I started thinking about the more interesting question:
If money is pouring into AI, where does it go after NVIDIA?
Because capital doesn’t always chase the same winner forever.
Sometimes it moves one step down the chain.
NVIDIA needs memory.
AI servers need networking.
Data centers need electricity.
And all of it needs cooling, infrastructure and more power capacity.
So instead of asking, “Can NVDA go higher?”
I’m asking:
“What part of the AI machine is becoming the next bottleneck?”
That’s where capital rotation gets interesting.
We’ve already seen Bridgewater reduce its NVIDIA position while significantly increasing its position in Vistra.
That doesn’t mean money is definitely rotating from chips into power.
But it’s exactly the kind of move that makes me pay attention.
The AI trade may be bigger than the GPU trade.
And sometimes the next winner is sitting one layer behind the stock everyone is already chasing.
That’s where I’m looking.
