OpenLedger enables users to create new data networks or contribute to existing datasets used to train AI models. Each contribution (e.g., adding data) is verified and recorded on-chain to ensure traceability and fair rewards.
It also provides tools to train and optimize AI models using your own data or data sourced from these networks in a decentralized way. The platform supports advanced techniques to run multiple models efficiently on a single GPU, improving performance while lowering costs. Every type of contribution—data, compute, or algorithmic optimization—is logged on the blockchain so participants are transparently recognized and incentivized.
For inference (when a model is used to produce an output via chat, a task, or an API call), OpenLedger aims to precisely attribute results to the model used, the data it was trained on, and the contributors involved. This attribution allows the platform to distribute rewards fairly to the people or teams responsible for building and training the model, and to provide end-to-end transparency by linking each inference to its origins—so creators can be credited and paid in real time.
Governance is based on a hybrid on-chain system using OpenZeppelin’s modular Governor framework. OPEN token holders can participate in shaping the protocol and approving upgrades.
