Strategy announced that it acquired an additional 950 BTC and repurchased $174 million worth of STRC preferred stock. As of September 20, the company held 846,000 BTC and approximately $6.09 billion in USD assets. Previously disclosed figures showed holdings of 845,050 BTC at an average purchase price of $75,412 per coin, with a total acquisition cost of approximately $63.73 billion. During an earlier market downturn, Strategy’s unrealized losses on its Bitcoin holdings had exceeded $10 billion.
Strive CEO Matt Cole said the company acquired 1,355 BTC for $107.7 million at an average price of $79,475 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 26,355 BTC. Strive began accepting warrant exercises last week and has received $21.2 million in gross proceeds. Including these funds, SATA accounts for 57.7% of the company's total capital raised.
