The $60 Crypto Lesson That Started My Trading Journey Before I knew anything about crypto, I honestly thought crypto was just another kind of scam. I had no idea what trading was, what an exchange was, or even why people were buying and selling digital coins. At that time, I was completely outside the crypto world and didn’t even imagine I would ever get involved in it. Then one day, during the time when Telegram bots were becoming popular, everything started by accident and very unexpectedly. I was watching a movie on Telegram when one of my friends suddenly sent me a link. He told me he needed a referral and asked me to click it and join. I didn't really understand what it was, but since he was my friend, I just opened the link and followed his instructions without thinking much. A little later, he asked me, “Do you have a Binance account?” I said no. He told me to create one because I might receive some coins. He was talking about Dogecoin and said it was going to be listed on Binance. At that time, I had absolutely no idea how crypto worked, so I simply followed what he told me without asking too many questions. So I created my first Binance account, not knowing that this small action would later become the beginning of my learning journey. Not long after that, some Dogecoin appeared in my account. And this is where my first crypto story gets funny and also a little painful. At the beginning, the price was actually looking really good. I remember seeing my Binance account showing around $60 worth of Dogecoin. For someone who had only just discovered crypto, seeing that amount inside my account felt very exciting and even a little unbelievable. But there was one big problem. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I didn't understand why the price was moving up and down. I didn't know when people should buy or sell. I didn't even understand what “holding” a coin really meant in real life. I was basically just staring at the number in my account and asking different people what I should do next. Then I met someone who seemed like a crypto expert. At least, that's what I thought at the time. He told me that he was going to hold Dogecoin until the end of the year because the price could go much higher. Since I knew almost nothing about crypto, I trusted him completely without doing my own research. So while other people were starting to sell and take profit, I kept holding. I thought, “Maybe he knows something that I don't.” Days passed, then weeks. The price kept falling. And I kept holding, still believing it would go back up. Eventually, my approximately $60 worth of Dogecoin dropped all the way down to around $5. That's when I finally panicked and realized something was wrong. I couldn't believe that the $60 I had seen in my Binance account had almost disappeared. I hadn't made any profit, and I didn't even understand clearly why I had lost so much just by following someone else’s advice. Looking back now, it's actually a little funny and also a very important memory. But at that time, it definitely wasn't funny at all. It was probably my first real lesson in crypto and also my first emotional experience with money loss. That's when I finally understood the meaning behind something I had heard before: DYOR — Do Your Own Research. Before that experience, I thought listening to someone who sounded experienced was enough. I didn't realize that their opinion was still just their opinion. They could be right, or they could be completely wrong. That $60 Dogecoin experience didn't make me quit crypto. Instead, it made me curious and more serious about learning. I started watching YouTube videos, reading articles, and slowly learning about cryptocurrency, exchanges, charts, risk management, and eventually trading. The more I learned, the more I realized how little I actually knew when I first opened my Binance account. That first Dogecoin experience was definitely a “laugh or cry” kind of story in my life. I entered crypto without knowledge, trusted someone else instead of researching for myself, watched my $60 turn into around $5, and only then truly understood why DYOR matters so much. It wasn't my biggest trade. It wasn't my most profitable trade. But it was probably one of the most memorable and important trades in my crypto journey. Because sometimes, the trade that loses your money can teach you more than the trade that makes you money. And for me, that $60 Dogecoin lesson was the real beginning of actually learning about crypto and building my own mindset. 🎃 Trading Crypto is already a Halloween movie, isn't it? 👻
One minute you're acefully eating dinner, and the next minute a red candle gives you a real jump scare! 📉😱 That's why this Halloween, I felt like combining the market volatility with the actual spooky season was a no-brainer. I spent my evening carving a classic Jack-o'-lantern and pairing it with Binance's yellow and black theme right next to my trading screen. Glowing in the dark, my pumpkin looked like it was silently watching my charts with me, praying I don't get liquidated tonight! 😂 Jokes aside, I’ve been using Binance for my trades, checking charts, and following community setups for quite a while now. Navigating these market swings isn't easy, but having a smooth, reliable platform makes the ride a lot less terrifying. Events like this #SEAPumpkinFrenzy are awesome because they remind us that the Binance community isn't just about candles and order books—it's also about having fun together. Rate my spooky setup from 1 to 10 in the comments! 👇 How are you spending your Halloween this year? #SEAPumpkinFrenzy

My vision for Binance Intelligence? I want the moment before I click “Buy” to become the moment I learn something. Instead of giving me another signal to follow, I’d want it to explain the trade-offs behind that decision — what I’m gaining, what I’m risking, and what I may be overlooking. If AI can make me pause and think twice, that’s intelligence I’d actually use. @Binance_Square_Official

A clean environment doesn’t start with a big movement. It starts with someone simply deciding to care. Today, we cleaned a small alley that had slowly turned into a dumping ground. Picking up one piece of trash may seem like a tiny action, but when more people choose to do the same, those small actions can create a real change. I hope one day, the places we live in won’t need to be cleaned because people will think twice before making them dirty. My wish is simple: cleaner streets, greener communities, and more people who care about the place they call home. Let’s not wait for someone else to make the change. Let’s be the reason our surroundings become better. Cleaner streets. Greener future.
What I like about BNB is that I actually use Binance, so BNB doesn’t feel like just another coin sitting in my wallet. I like having a token that I can use while trading and within the Binance ecosystem.
Bought my BNB at $777 and now I’m curious to see what happens next. 👀🚀
