In an official announcement today, Binance issued a notice of removal for three spot trading pairs on May 9, 2025. To safeguard users and maintain a high-quality trading market, Binance conducts periodic reviews of all listed spot trading pairs and may delist selected pairs for various reasons, including low liquidity and trade volume.
Based on its most recent reviews, Binance said that it will remove and discontinue trading on spot trading pairs ANIME/BNB, STRK/BTC and THE/BTC on May 9 at 3:00 a.m. (UTC). Binance will delist and cease trading for the ANIME/BNB, STRK/BTC, and THE/BTC spot trading pairs on May 9 at 11:00 (UTC+8). Binance periodically reviews listed spot trading pairs and may delist pairs due to factors like low liquidity or poor trading volume.ā¦
Binance will also cease Spot Trading Bots services for the aforementioned spot trading pairs, if applicable. Ā Users are strongly urged to update and/or terminate their Spot Trading Bots before the termination of the services to avoid any losses. Delisting a spot trading pair has no effect on the tokens' availability on Binance Spot. Users can continue to trade the spot trading pair's base and quote assets on other Binance trading pairs. Six cryptocurrencies under scrutiny In addition to the pair delistings, Binance has flagged six cryptocurrencies for potential delisting. This move is part of Binance's routine asset review process aimed at maintaining high trading standards and ensuring user safety.

Experts said the live use of advanced weapons would be analyzed across the world, including in China and the United States which are both preparing for a potential conflict over Taiwan or in the wider Indo-Pacific region.
One U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters there was high confidence that Pakistan had used the Chinese-made J-10 aircraft to launch air-to-air missiles against Indian fighter jets.
Social media posts focused on the performance of China's PL-15 air-to-air missile against the Meteor, a radar-guided air-to-air missile produced by European group MBDAĀ (AIR.PA), opens new tab,Ā (BAES.L), opens new tab,Ā (LDOF.MI), opens new tab. There has been no official confirmation these weapons were used.
"Air warfare communities in China, the U.S. and a number of European countries will be extremely interested to try and get as much ground truth as they can on tactics, techniques, procedures, what kit was used, what worked and what didn't," said Douglas Barrie, senior fellow for military aerospace at the International Institute for Strategic Studies.

An Indian Air Force spokesperson said he had no comment when asked about the Reuters report.
The performance of a leading Chinese fighter jet against a Western rival is being closely watched in Washington for insights into how Beijing might fare in any showdown over Taiwan or the wider Indo-Pacific.
One U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said there was high confidence that Pakistan had used the Chinese-made J-10 aircraft to launch air-to-air missiles against Indian fighter jets - bringing down at least two.
Another official said at least one Indian jet that was shot down was a French-made Rafale fighter aircraft.
Both officials said Pakistan's F-16 aircraft, made by Lockheed MartinĀ (LMT.N), opens new tab, were not used in the shootdown.
Delhi has not acknowledged the loss of any of its planes and instead said it carried out successful strikes against what it said was "terrorist" infrastructure inside Pakistan.
