Gold( $XAU ) has had a rough month.

It's sitting around $4,160/oz right now, down about 3% in the last 30 days. In January it hit a record of nearly $5,600, so that's a long way down.

The main reason is a dollar that's near its strongest level in 18 months. A strong dollar usually weighs on gold. Add Middle East tensions and a week full of US inflation and retail sales data, and the market is clearly holding its breath.

I don't think anyone really knows which way it breaks from here. I'll be watching the CPI numbers closely.

The 30M chart is showing a possible Head & Shoulders pattern, with the neckline sitting around $0.015–$0.0155.

If that neckline breaks with confirmation, short-term bearish pressure could increase, with $0.014 → $0.012 becoming possible downside areas.

But if PORTAL reclaims $0.0165–$0.0170, the bearish setup could get invalidated.

For now, the chart is giving a caution signal for bulls. Don't chase—watch the neckline. 👀📉

$ETH is trading around $1,879 on the 4H chart, down 0.18%.

After falling from $1,943 to $1,852, ETH recovered but is now moving sideways around $1,870–$1,890. The market looks undecided.

The short-term moving averages are slightly bearish. Price is below MA(5), MA(10), and MA(30), meaning sellers currently have a small advantage.

Volume is low compared with earlier activity. This shows that traders are waiting for a stronger move before committing.

Funding is slightly positive at 0.0025%, meaning longs are paying shorts. But the rate is small, so there is no major long-side crowding.

The Long/Short ratio is 1.0214, almost perfectly balanced. Buyers have only a tiny advantage.

Open Interest is around 2.4M and has recently flattened. This suggests traders aren't aggressively adding new positions.

Key levels to watch: $1,852 — important support. $1,883–$1,900 — first resistance zone. $1,920 — stronger resistance.

Overall, ETH is in a waiting zone. The chart doesn't show a strong direction yet. A breakout with higher volume and rising Open Interest could give the next clearer signal.

$BTC is pressing into a major 65.2K–65.8K resistance zone while still holding the rising channel. The short-term structure remains bullish with price above both EMAs, but this is a key decision area.

Trade setup:

🟢 Long: 4H close above 65.8K Entry: 65.8K–66.0K on retest TP1: 66.4K TP2: 66.8K TP3: 67.5K+ SL: 65.2K

Alternative: If BTC gets rejected from 65.2K–65.8K and loses 64.7K, the setup flips bearish toward 64.0K → 63.2K.


BTC is at resistance now, so I’d rather wait for confirmation than chase the move.
