BIOPSY-22 proposes delaying the Core Team’s 1-Year Cliff unlock by 6 months.

Instead of a single unlock tomorrow, May 28, the team's 1-year cliff would unlock linearly starting Nov 15, 2025.

Rationale:
• Keep the community focused on shipping, adoption and ecosystem growth.
• Keep circulating supply lower while early versions of the protocol are still being rolled out.
• Underscore the team’s commitment to the long-term vision and development of the protocol & ecosystem.

BIOPSY Proposal: Re‑vesting of Team & Advisor Tokens

Proposes updates to upcoming $BIO token unlock for team & advisors:

→ Team & advisor tokens are on a 6‑year vesting schedule with a 1‑year cliff (4.23% of supply) set to unlock this May 28, 2025.

→ Instead of an unlock this May 28, team and advisor tokens would only start to unlock 6 months from now in Nov 2025

→ Rather than a single unlock event, team and advisor tokens will unlock linearly over 6 months, from November 2025 to May 2026.

Rationale:

1) Keep circulating supply lower while early versions of the protocol are still being rolled out

2) keep the community focused on shipping, adoption and ecosystem growth

3) underscore team & advisor commitment to the long-term vision and development of the protocol & ecosystem.
