$ZEC JUST ENTERED A NEW ERA AND MOST PEOPLE ARE FOCUSED ON THE WRONG THING.
Zcash has officially activated its highly anticipated NU7 network upgrade.
But this is much bigger than a routine software update.
Here's what just changed:
• Block intervals dropped from 75 seconds to 25 seconds. • Private transaction capacity could more than double. • 60% of transaction fees will be reserved for future network rewards. • The 21 million ZEC supply cap remains unchanged.
Here's what catches my attention:
Zcash isn't just trying to compete on price. It's upgrading the infrastructure behind private digital payments.
But technology alone doesn't guarantee success.
The real challenge is turning these improvements into real-world adoption.
One question for the Zcash community:
Is NU7 the beginning of Zcash's next major growth phase, or does the project still have more to prove?
