Vitalik: Ethereum needs to simplify features to ensure a truly trustless mechanism
According to reports from HashChain, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin pointed out that the Ethereum blockchain needs to explain its features more clearly to users in order to achieve a truly trustless mechanism, a challenge faced by all blockchain protocols. Although Ethereum's transactions and smart contracts execute through open-source code and a decentralized network of validators, already possessing trustless characteristics, Buterin mentioned in a post on the X platform: "An important and underestimated form of trustlessness is enhancing comprehensive understanding of the entire protocol. Ethereum needs to strive to achieve this." When asked about the balance between technical features and user understanding, Buterin stated, "Sometimes we need to be willing to reduce some functionalities."
