Cysic was founded by Leo Fan, who has a PhD in cryptography from Cornell University.

Previous work includes research roles at Algorand, NIST, and Rutgers University, along with early experience in Bitcoin and Ethereum mining. Other core team members come from organizations such as Huawei, Alibaba, Amazon, Google, DJI, Binance Labs, and Manta, with backgrounds in hardware design, zero-knowledge systems, blockchain engineering, and operations.

What Makes Cysic Unique?

Cysic combines a computing marketplace, a verification framework, and hardware-enabled execution into a single network. Contributors provide computation through available devices, and developers access verifiable workloads through a single interface. Each task is executed and validated before being recorded on-chain via Proof of Compute.
