🚨 FLASH | France is preparing to impose mandatory declaration of self-custody crypto wallets (Ledger, MetaMask…)
👉 An amendment was adopted on Tuesday in the National Assembly committee, and another identical amendment, defended by the rapporteur (Ensemble), was also submitted yesterday.
👉 The measure would require any holder of a non-custodial wallet (Ledger, MetaMask, Rabby...) to declare it to the tax authorities once its value exceeds €5,000.
👉 The bipartisan support makes the final vote almost certain during the session review.
