He explained, “In the past ten years, every four years there has been a year when bitcoin drops sharply, and 2026 is lining up to be a negative year.” Even so, he emphasized that Bitcoin still plays an important role in portfolios because of global liquidity demand, similar to gold. At the same time, other risks are emerging that worry early crypto adopters, including Bitcoin’s potential vulnerability to quantum computing and its limitations in transaction privacy. In this context, he mentioned Zcash as a potential alternative, describing it as a token that is related to bitcoin but offers far stronger privacy.
