Many people ask me, how can seven thousand turn into a million?
Actually, you might not believe it when I say—I also started from 1000U.
That year the market was terrible, and I only had seven thousand RMB left.
I made up my mind and exchanged it for 1000U, treating it as my last attempt.
The first thing I did was not to go all in, but to 'roll the snowball'.
200U at a time, picking the hottest coins of the day, doubling my money and then cashing out.
If I lost money and went down to 50U, I would cut my losses immediately, never holding on stubbornly.
After three consecutive wins, I could turn 1000U into a substantial amount.
But at that time, what I feared most was not losing money, but getting 'high on the market'.
So every time I made over a thousand, I would immediately stop and take a day off.
When my capital grew a bit, I began to play with things that could really make money—combination punches.
This was the key that transformed me from 'being able to eat enough' to 'being able to make money'.
The first type of money, I used for quick gains.
Like a street vendor, I would leave after a 3% gain, and I wouldn't stubbornly resist the market if it dropped.
The second type of money, I put into regular investments.
A fixed amount weekly, buying into long-term trends rather than buying based on mood.
The third type of money is my big weapon.
When news breaks, policies change, or major market movements are about to explode—I would strike hard.
But I always pre-write two numbers: how much to take when I profit, and at what loss I will cut my losses.
Those who don’t write down these two numbers end up dead in their emotions.
Contracts are not magic; they simply amplify your 'correct judgments' profits,
also magnifying the costs of your 'incorrect judgments'.
So I have always adhered to four iron rules:
First, never go all in,
Second, stop loss on every trade,
Third, a maximum of three trades a day,
Fourth, cash out immediately when I reach my profit target.
In these ten years, I have seen too many people earn their first pot of gold by luck,
and then give it all back due to greed.
But I was able to go from 1000U to 30 million, relying on one phrase: be ruthless—be ruthless with the market, and even more ruthless with myself.
