Linea entered a new era of interoperability by integrating Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) — the most trusted cross-chain standard in Web3. This collaboration expanded Linea’s reach beyond Ethereum, giving developers the tools to build secure, programmable, and multi-chain decentralized applications.

Linea chose Chainlink CCIP as its interoperability backbone after evaluating multiple solutions. CCIP stood out for its Level-5 cross-chain security, the highest recognized standard in the space, and for its Risk Management Network, an independent system continuously monitoring all cross-chain activities for anomalies or suspicious behavior.
