The company intends to distribute tokens of receivables originated from Brazilian lands to Asian investors

The Brazilian tokenization platform AmFi partnered with the Singaporean tokenizer Helix to connect assets from Brazil to investors in the Asian country. As a result, the companies will already launch a receivables token that pays a return of 12% per year in dollars to foreign investors.

“There were no mechanisms to align local opportunities with global funding. Through blockchain and tokenization, it is possible to create a simpler road for capital,” says João Pirola, CPO and co-founder of AmFi.

The executive recalls that due to the Selic rate being very high compared to the interest rates of developed countries, Brazilian receivables have very attractive yields for foreigners. What was missing was a channel to distribute this type of financial product on a large scale so that AmFi wouldn't have to 'knock on doors'.

The partnership was structured with the support of the venture capital manager Onigiri Capital, which recently arrived in Brazil.

AmFi states that in three years of activity it has already tokenized R$ 1.9 billion. “For next year, we are aiming for US$ 100 million in distribution just in this channel in Singapore,” projects Pirola.

The product with a remuneration of 12% per year is a securitization of duplications from B2B transactions (between companies) with an average term of 30 to 45 days. “All cases are payers of large companies, which mitigates risks,” defends the executive of AmFi.
