Let's briefly discuss OKX's X Launch activity, how to brush, and which points tier to brush?

TLDR

  • Position category 1 token, mainly ETH/SOL/BNB public chain coins and stablecoins, convenient for subsequent score brushing.

  • Look at the service fee of OKX DEX, choose a trading pair with a 0.85% fee rate, which is more cost-effective for earning points.

  • Multi-account players brush tier 2 (64U), single-account players brush tier 4 (256U), do not brush tier 7/8.

1/Three activities of OKX Boost

X Launch: Earn points based on the position/trading data from the past 15 days and share the prize pool of new tokens proportionally.

Giveaway: Complete the deposit/social/interact tasks assigned by the project party to receive task rewards. Trading competition: Token trading competitions are held irregularly, where users in the lead share the prize pool. The core of OKX boost is X Launch, the other two will be briefly skipped.

2/X Launch event

The official will set a minimum line, and only users who meet both conditions are eligible to participate in the Launch event. The minimum standard is determined based on the user's Boost trading volume and Boost balance over the past 15 days.

Boost balance: Your average daily balance of Category 1 tokens held in the OKX wallet.

Boost trading volume: Your average daily trading volume on OKX DEX and on Solana/EVM compatible chains, multiplied by a factor.

The prize pool is a fixed quantity of project tokens, and the distribution method is 'your trading points/total trading points'. Trading points are determined by Boost trading volume, 32U-1 point, 256U-4 points, 1024U-6 points... up to a maximum of 4096U-8 points.

Essentially, it is still about boosting trading volume, but the key is which type of token to boost and which point level to target.

3/Boost balance

The Boost balance currently only looks at the Category 1 tokens held in the wallet.

· Category 1: Bitcoin/Ethereum, mainstream public chain coins (BNB/SOL/OKB, etc.), and stablecoins.

· Category 2: Mainstream altcoins of projects/Meme (AAVE/CRV/LINK/DOGE, etc.).

· Other tokens: Those that do not belong to Category 1/2 are classified as other tokens. This balance is snapshot every hour, using 24 snapshots to average the balance held for the day, so it cannot be credited at 7 o'clock and withdrawn at 8 o'clock.

Considering that points will still need to be boosted later, holding Category 1 ETH/SOL/BNB and stablecoins will be more convenient.

4/Boost trading volume

The multiples gained from trading different token pairs vary, a relatively simple way is to directly look at the service fee rate charged during trading on OKX DEX.

· If it is 0%, then the transaction has no points;

· If it is 0.25%, then the transaction can only achieve 0.25 times the Boost trading volume;

· If it is 0.85%, then the transaction can achieve a complete 1 time of Boost trading volume;

Therefore, to obtain the same amount of Boost trading volume, using tokens with a service fee of 0.85% incurs less total handling fee.

Considering that the Boost balance only counts Category 1 tokens, therefore, you can boost 'Category 1 - other tokens'

. 5/Boost X wear and earnings The first phase of X Launch is $LINEA, currently, the points are 63308.53, and the number of eligible participants is 19347, so the average point is 3.27. The Linea prize pool has 162022478 tokens, each point can earn 2559 LINEA tokens, pre-market 0.03U, so 'temporarily' a point is worth 76U. From a cost-effectiveness perspective, the low-end of 32/64U is the highest; in terms of absolute profit, the mid-range of 4/5/6 is the best; the high range of 7/8 is not worth boosting.

The prize pool earnings for the next few periods are expected to decrease, while the number of participants will increase (the total number of points will increase), and the earnings per point will decline. Currently, one point is 76U, so assuming the future point earnings might be 10/20/30/40/50/60/70, the approximate profits for different levels are shown in the image (made by GPT). For multi-account players, Level 2 (64U) is the best; for single-account players, Level 4 (256U) has controllable wear, lower risk, and relatively considerable profit.
