President Donald Trump said he would “love” to host Vladimir Putin and Xi (PM China ) at the 2026 G20 Summit in Miami, set to take place at his Trump National Doral resort. While Russia and China are already full G20 members, Trump suggested they could attend as “observers.”
The announcement comes after Trump recently met Putin in Alaska for talks on the Russia-Ukraine war, though no agreements were reached.
With Xi not visiting the U.S. since 2015, Trump’s invitation signals his effort to reset ties with both leaders despite their growing partnership.
