USA deploys amphibious squadron in the southern Caribbean

The U.S. government ordered the deployment of an amphibious squadron to the southern Caribbean as part of President Donald Trump's efforts to confront the threats posed by narcoterrorist cartels, as reported on Wednesday night by the @reuters agency.

Sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, specified that the ships USS San Antonio, USS Iwo Jima, and USS Fort Lauderdale could arrive in the southern Caribbean near the coasts of Venezuela next Sunday.

The operation targets structures such as the Cartel of the Suns, which the U.S. links to Maduro, for whose capture it offers 50 million dollars.
