The United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, announced new sanctions on Wednesday against officials of the International Criminal Court for investigating war crimes in Gaza and Afghanistan.
Among those sanctioned: Kimberly Prost (Canada), Nicolas Guillou (France), Nazhat Shameem Khan (Fiji), and Mame Mandiaye Niang (Senegal).
"These individuals are foreigners who directly participated in the International Criminal Court's efforts to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute citizens of the United States or Israel, without the consent of either nation," explained the head of U.S. diplomacy in a statement.
Do you think the U.S. is right to sanction the ICC or should it have allowed the investigations?
