Don’t rush to blame the market; first ask yourself: Are you trading, or are you gambling?

I dare say, 90% of people blow up their accounts, not because the market is too bad, but because they can't control their hands—this is the ultimate tragedy of gamblers in the crypto world.

You need to understand: it’s not trading that harmed you; it’s you insisting on playing this game with a gambler's mentality.

1. Honestly answer: Are you a trader or a gambler?

Traders have plans and discipline; they are responsible for every single operation.
Gamblers rely on feelings and luck; they celebrate profits but curse losses, always blaming the market.

In the first few years after I entered the market, I was a gambler too.
Often fully invested, stubbornly holding against the trend, always thinking 'it will rise' or 'I will definitely break even.'
And what’s the result? Profits are luck, and losses are deserved.

2. Gambling addiction is the biggest cancer for traders.

Once you get high, all rules are meaningless.
FOMO drives high, holding through crashes, losing your mind while adding positions—are you also like this?
This is not trading; it's blind gambling.
If you don't change this habit, no matter how much you earn, you will ultimately lose it all.

3. How to quit gambling and become a real trader?

Emotional control is the top priority.
Don't let greed and fear trade for you. Set a strategy, and then execute it like a robot. Don't get carried away when prices rise, and don't panic when they fall.

Never go All In.
Only gamblers like to bet everything on a single outcome. Real traders know that position management is more important than just direction.

Stop-loss and take-profit must be decisive.
If you don't cut losses at 10%, are you waiting to cut them at 90%? If you don't take profits, are you waiting to complain when prices drop back?

Regularly review your trades; it's not just venting.
Don't boast about your profits and blame the market when you lose. Review each trade: Why did you enter? Why did you exit? Where did you go wrong? How can you improve next time?

4. Remember this phrase:

Gamblers can never escape the outcome of losing it all.
Traders, on the other hand, must survive to wait for the next opportunity.
