Strategy acquired 430 BTC for $51.4 million, expanding its treasury to 629,376 BTC, nearly 3% of total Bitcoin supply.
Stock sale proceeds from STRK, STRF, and STRD raised over $50 million, funding Strategy’s third straight weekly Bitcoin purchase.
Updated capital guidance enables flexible share issuance tied to mNAV levels, balancing acquisitions, debt payments, and potential buybacks.
Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, has expanded its Bitcoin holdings once again. The company purchased 430 BTC for $51.4 million at an average price of $119,666 per coin. This move brings its total stash to 629,376 BTC, equal to nearly 3% of Bitcoin’s circulating supply. The company disclosed that its year-to-date Bitcoin yield now stands at 25.1%.
The firm’s latest SEC filing revealed that proceeds from stock sales funded this acquisition. Strategy raised $19.3 million from STRK shares, $19 million from STRF shares, and $12.1 million from STRD shares. These sales provided the capital for the latest purchase. It marks the company’s third consecutive weekly addition to its Bitcoin treasury, following the acquisition of 155 BTC last week.
Capital Raising Guidance
Alongside the purchase, Strategy updated its guidance for its Equity At-The-Market program. The company plans to actively issue shares when its market net asset value, or mNAV, exceeds 4.0x. If the mNAV is between 2.5x and 4.0x, shares will be issued opportunistically to buy Bitcoin. When the ratio falls below 2.5x, proceeds will support debt obligations and dividend payments. If mNAV drops under 1.0x, the firm may consider issuing credit to buy back its shares.
The purchase arrives as Bitcoin and Strategy’s stock both record declines. Bitcoin slipped below $115,000, losing nearly 5% over the past week. Meanwhile, MSTR stock dropped more than 8% in the last five days, trading near $362 after closing at $366 the previous week.
Despite recent pullbacks, both assets show significant growth over the longer term. Strategy’s stock is up 22% in 2025 and 174% over the past year. Bitcoin has also gained around 22% since the beginning of the year.
