Impressive financial report: turning losses into profits, strong revenue
Metaplanet's latest financial report also injects confidence into the market. Second-quarter revenue reached 1.2 billion yen (approximately $8.4 million), a 41% increase from the previous quarter; net profit turned from a loss of 5 billion yen in the first quarter to a profit of 11.1 billion yen (approximately $75.1 million).

Stock price volatility; investor sentiment is divided.
However, the market's stock performance did not reflect this simultaneously. According to Yahoo Finance data, Metaplanet's stock price fell 8.6% to 866 yen at the close in Tokyo last Friday; it slightly rebounded by 0.6% during trading on Monday.
In response to the decline in stock price, Simon Gerovich reassured investors on Sunday: "I understand the market's disappointment; it's natural. But our confidence comes from the foundation we are building."
He emphasized that Metaplanet's Bitcoin revenue business has expanded for three consecutive quarters, providing not only a stable cash flow but also adding flexibility to the company's potential future financing arrangements, continuously supporting the Bitcoin strategy.
