The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, expressed his rejection of the reward offered by the Donald Trump Administration, of 50 million dollars for information leading to the capture of Nicolás Maduro.
In a message posted on his X account, Petro stated that "I do not believe that the solution to the political problems of Venezuelans lies in putting money to kill or capture political leaders."
In addition to this, he emphasized that he has received the support of Maduro and the Chavista Defense Minister, Vladimir Padrino López, to combat the drug trafficking groups that operate on the border between both countries.
