A hacker through 150 extensions of Firefox stole 1 million dollars of digital assets, the Jinse Finance newspaper reported that the internet crime organization GreedyBear has significantly upgraded its offensive activities, publishing 150 extensions to the Firefox browser aimed at users of digital assets around the world. According to the cybersecurity company Koi Security, the organization managed to steal more than a million dollars of digital assets through this attack in just five weeks. The organization's add-on-based attack toolkit has almost doubled, while the organization had previously used only 40 malicious add-ons in the period from April to July 2025.
