A hacker through 150 Firefox extensions stole 1 million dollars in digital assets. Jinse Finance reported that the cybercrime organization GreedyBear has significantly upgraded its offensive activities, having published 150 extensions for the Firefox browser targeting digital asset users worldwide. According to cybersecurity company Koi Security, the organization managed to steal more than one million dollars in digital assets through this attack in just five weeks. The organization's extension-based attack toolkit has nearly doubled, whereas the organization had previously used only 40 malicious extensions from April to July 2025.
