$PROVE is the native ERC-20 utility token of the Succinct protocol, a platform designed to generate and verify zero-knowledge proofs (zk-proofs) efficiently and securely. The token plays multiple roles within the ecosystem. It is used to pay provers who perform zk-proof generation, stake for eligibility to process proof jobs, delegate to active provers for shared rewards, and participate in protocol governance. Initially, governance is managed by a security council, but the system is transitioning toward full on-chain, token-holder-driven governance.

Provers in the @Succinct network must stake $PROVE to bid for proof jobs. If they fail to deliver proofs on time, they risk losing part of their stake, creating a trustless incentive mechanism. Token holders who do not operate as provers can delegate their PROVE to others, earning a portion of the rewards.

#Binance listed $PROVE on August 5, 2025, following its 31st HODLer Airdrop campaign, in which 15 million PROVE tokens (1.5% of the total 1 billion supply) were distributed to eligible #bnb stakers who participated between July 9–12, 2025. At launch, Binance offered multiple trading pairs including PROVE/USDT, PROVE/USDC, PROVE/BNB, PROVE/FDUSD, and PROVE/TRY, and applied a Seed Tag to indicate higher volatility and investment risk.
