One thing I've learned over time is to set aside a portion of the profit from each trade (especially when I'm scalping altcoins) to save in BTC. I treat this as a 'crypto savings account.' 💰
Whenever I earn something in coins like CFX or BOB, I convert 10 to 20% to BTC and let it sit. This way, even if the market turns, I always have a reserve growing over time. This prevents me from being 100% exposed to volatile coins and helps build something more solid for the long term.
After all, the goal is freedom — not just adrenaline!
