In the crypto ecosystem, addresses that hold between 10 and 10,000 BTC are referred to as “whales.” These institutional players or large individual investors can cause significant market fluctuations, whether through massive purchases, strategic sales, or simple movements between wallets.
The analysis platform Santiment has reported that since the end of March, these whales have increased their position by more than 218,000 BTC. This figure represents a clear signal of long-term accumulation, especially when considering that they now control 68.44% of the total circulating supply of Bitcoin.
