Zangazur, NATO, and the Caspian: geopolitical turbulence on the horizon

It seems that with the possible involvement of the United States in the Zangazur corridor project, we are witnessing a new wave of transformations, and the Caspian Sea risks becoming the epicenter of instability. Any destabilization in the region will inevitably affect strategic transport routes, such as the Trans-Caspian corridor (middle route), TRACECA, "Pencil-Lazur", and the Zangazur itself.

This is not just logistics; it is a confrontation between NATO's eastward expansion and the Turkic project in its radical form.

Russia is aware that with the implementation of the trans-Adriatic route, it will have to face Georgia again.

In this context, the Zangazur corridor becomes not only an infrastructure issue but also deeply strategic.

Azerbaijan shows an increasing risk of being involved in complex political-military scenarios, from Libya to Niger.

Any destabilization of the Caspian region will have a direct impact on the balance in Eurasia.
