Over $817.2 million in crypto was liquidated from 169,486 traders in the past 24 hours, marking the largest daily crypto liquidation in recent days, according to Coinglass.
Of this, $511 million came from long positions and $302 million from short positions. Binance recorded the highest liquidations at $369 million, followed by Bybit with $190 million.
Interestingly, Ethereum (ETH) accounted for the largest share of liquidations at $261 million, followed by Bitcoin (BTC) at $140 million and XRP at $96 million.
This mass liquidation follows a period where large institutions built strategic crypto reserves, pushing prices higher in recent weeks.
