#CAILA链上AI气象官捕捉下一场Web3风暴

On-chain narratives have reached unprecedented heights, but I truly didn't expect a project to bring 'weather' onto the blockchain.

Recently, the CAILA project has gained a lot of popularity in the community for bringing real-world weather data onto the blockchain. Its approach is quite bold—developing a physical meteorological device called Marco. Users can deploy the device at home to generate hyper-local weather data, which is then uploaded to the blockchain, earning $CA tokens as rewards. You heard it right; it's not about making money by clicking ads but rather by the wind and sunshine.

At first, I thought it was just a meme project, but later I saw people showcasing their earnings and equipment, which made me realize it has indeed developed a complete off-chain sensor + on-chain incentive system, combining the recently popular concepts of AI Agent and DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure).

$CA is its native token, not just a 'mining reward'. It has practical uses throughout the ecosystem, including recommending merchants, unlocking customized weather services, and accessing APIs. The commercialization scenarios aren't just conceptual; they are based on real demands for weather services, with numerous partnerships established, including integrations with Web3 projects like UXUY and ListaDAO.

In a sense, CAILA is one of the few projects that truly implements the concept of 'earning while living'. It doesn't talk much about how AI will change the fate of humanity but instead focuses on a tangible aspect of our daily lives—weather—creating an 'IoT gateway that can produce tokens'.

It's hard to say where this project will go in the future, but at least this design of extracting value from 'air' is certainly worth paying attention to.
