Iran and the Straits

The recurring news on media outlets about Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait is a catastrophe by all measures if it actually happens. This would cause paralysis in the global economy and a collapse of the markets, as most of the world's oil needs pass through these two straits. This would lead to a record increase in oil prices, resulting in a rise in the prices of goods and services, pushing the global economy into an unprecedented recession. Considering these data, there are two possible directions. Either the United States officially enters the war and ends the Iranian regime entirely, but this depends on the speed of execution, or if the removal of the regime takes a long time, the United States will resort to pressuring the two countries in various ways for an immediate cessation of the war to avoid a global recession that consumes everything.
