Creation of the United States Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

In March 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order for the establishment of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and Digital Asset Stockpile, which involves the storage of confiscated BTC as a government reserve.

The state already owns about 200,000 BTC as of the end of March 2025.
