PANews, May 15 news, Varun Srinivasan, co-founder and CTO of Farcaster, announced on social media that one of the front-end applications of the decentralized social network Farcaster, Warpcast, will be renamed to Farcaster. Specific changes include: the mobile application will also be renamed; the classic Arch logo (i.e., Farcaster Logo) will be re-enabled; the official website domain will be migrated from warpcast.com to farcaster.xyz; all old links will remain backward compatible, and users do not need to take any action. Srinivasan added that there will be no other changes in the short term, and the team will proceed steadily while communicating fully through multiple channels. The earliest changes are expected to happen in mid-May, but they are likely to be postponed until June.
