PANews May 15 news, the Hong Kong Police Force Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (Cyber Crime Unit) announced the security maintenance situation of Hong Kong's virtual asset ecosystem, highlighting the importance of shared responsibility among exchanges, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement, as emphasized by Commissioner of Police Raymond Siu. The Cyber Crime Unit also collaborated with the University of Hong Kong to develop the virtual asset analysis tool CryptoTrace, providing advanced intelligence and investigative support to crime investigation units. Additionally, a new anti-fraud team was established in the New Territories South region.
