#AI Artificial intelligence will radically change the internet and decentralized finance (DeFi) over the next 5-10 years, claims 1inch network co-founder Anton Bukov.
According to him, artificial intelligence will become the main driver of online traffic, completely disrupting traditional monetization models.
"Advertising will become a thing of the past — AI agents will simply ignore them. Instead, micropayments for each request will arise, embedded directly into protocols like HTTP, making the internet financially sustainable and profitable for content creators," explained Bukov.
In the field of DeFi, artificial intelligence will play key roles: analyzing smart contracts, preventing attacks, and optimizing transactions.
Bukov also emphasized that AI assistants will be able to manage users' crypto assets without direct access to their funds.
"These bots will independently pay for services such as BigQuery or OpenAI, using DeFi protocols. Cryptocurrencies are perfectly suited for this, as traditional banks are not ready to interact with AI," he noted.
According to Bukov, DeFi will evolve into an era of true financial freedom.
