According to TechFlow, on June 19, the government led by Czech Prime Minister Peter Fiala successfully retained its ruling position in a no-confidence vote initiated by the opposition. The vote stemmed from a scandal involving $45 million in Bitcoin, which came from a donation to the state by a convicted drug dealer. In the vote on Wednesday, the opposition's motion to remove the cabinet received only 94 votes in favor, failing to reach the majority required in the 200-seat lower house of parliament. This result allows Fiala's government to continue to govern until the parliamentary elections scheduled for October this year.
