According to Foresight News, Swiss supermarket chain Spar plans to implement Bitcoin payment options throughout Switzerland following a successful pilot program. The trial, conducted at Spar's Zug location, began in early April and utilized the Lightning Network to facilitate Bitcoin transactions. This initiative was supported by DFX Swiss's OpenCryptoPay platform, which is designed for seamless peer-to-peer cryptocurrency transactions in face-to-face settings.
