What is Momentum (MMT)? #MMT

Momentum is a DeFi (decentralized finance) protocol built on the Sui blockchain.
It aims to be a liquidity hub for the Move ecosystem, providing a decentralized exchange (DEX) and other DeFi infrastructure.
Its DEX is built on a CLMM model (Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker), inspired by Uniswap v3 but optimized for Sui.
2. Token (MMT) Purpose & Utilities
Governance: MMT is used for governance in the Momentum protocol. Users can create a “veMMT” (voted escrow MMT) by locking MMT, which gives them voting power.
Incentives: People who participate in the ecosystem — e.g., by providing liquidity, trading, or voting — can be rewarded with MMT.
Privileged Access: Holding veMMT gives you access to special features: early access to new vaults, priority in token generation labs (TGL), beta features, etc.
Buyback Mechanism: The protocol plans to use part of its revenue to buy back MMT from the market, and some of those bought tokens may be burned or redistributed.
