The Pentagon has signed a contract with the American-German company Auterion for the supply of 33,000 artificial intelligence (AI) kits for Ukrainian drones worth $50 million. These systems, known as Skynode, turn regular drones into autonomous strike platforms capable of detecting targets at a distance of up to 1 km and resisting jamming. Deliveries will begin by the end of 2025 and will become the largest batch of such equipment aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense against massive Russian drone attacks.
