I used to care sooooo much what people thought about me. Definitely WAY too much, especially when 99% of the "people" was the Twitterverse
I would never post ref links cause god forbid that makes me look like a grifter
I would never post tickers cause god forbid that makes me look like a grifter
It took me forever to get over the hurdle of posting about educational courses or any other product that cost money because, god forbid, that would make me look like a grifter
Turns out you can do all of the above and not be a grifter, as long as you're, you know, not being scummy, scammy, and unethical (aka don't post tickers for low mcap tokens, don't sell a vaporware course that only extracts and adds nothing of value, etc)
Most of the time when people are tearing others down on this app, either a) they're actually a grifter and deserve it, or b) the person throwing stones is envious, or bitter, or behaving irrationally; so who cares what they think?
End of the day -- come up with your own set of ethics and morals, something that you're comfortable with and allows you to sleep well at night, and don't care too much about others
Live your life, take care of your family and friends, try and be a good person and do good stuff, do right by others, and ignore the toxic noise which is unfortunately in extreme abudance around these here parts
Just picked up a @navigate_ai box -- it's a node sale that's ACTUALLY A NODE SALE, you get a physical device with great hardware and you just plug it in and sync to run an Ethereum + Base node
Been advising Navigate for coming up on a couple of years now and love all they do 👏

Working on a newsletter today on InfoFi -- is it good or bad? (spoiler alert: neither)
In the process I realized I hadn't shared my xeet link. I like @Pons_ETH, so let's see what he's cooking. I like that they leveraged @ethos_network too

Your greatest edge will come from the boring stuff
I was a professional poker player for ~15 years. I saw a lot of things, including hundreds of other professionals or would-be professionals that came and went, and I feel like I got a pretty good handle on what it took to “make it”.
By and large, the ones that were able to stick it out and consistently win over years all had one thing in common: they were good at the boring stuff.
Just wrote about my portfolio review process, something I do every month or two — I recommend every active investor regularly reviews their portfolio like this
I also shared my exact holdings for my premium subscribers, breaking down my top 5 alt coin positions along with every token I have high conviction in
In next week’s newsletter I’ll be sharing a portfolio update — I’ve finally managed to allocate the vast majority of my alts into just 5 coins so I’ll share what they are & why I picked them
If you had to pick just 5 tokens to hold (excluding majors), what would yours be?
One of my favourite parts about X is go every second person you interact with is an expert on war, geopolitics, the global financial system, climate change, content creation, and memecoins
Was fortunate to make it into the top 1k Loudio yappers with only a couple of posts, and also lucky to be able to send for the presale while on a flight (decent in-air wifi ftw)
I mentioned in my previous post that if I did get in on it, i'd be claiming + dumping + donating the full amount -- sharing proof here
Donated to a pet rescue charity cause my wife and I are animal lovers. Dogs especially are the best of us, we don't deserve them.
Speaking of being fortunate, I'm most fortunate to be in a position to be able to do this. No hate on anyone who farmed it, or kept the money, or did whatever the f they wanted to do with it.
Like I also said previously, I think the whole Loudio drama was pretty overblown and such a mild molehill to create a mountain out of 🤷
I’m not trying to farm Loudio. There’s no chance I’m making the top 25, and I’m gonna be on a flight during the presale
Even if I make the top 1k and manage to get in mid flight, I’ll dump and donate the proceeds.
But I do want to talk about it some more — basically, I don’t get the hate?
Like of all the things there have been in our space, this seems fairly mild.
99% of people are here to make money, and most people on here don’t have much money and a few thousand or few hundred dollars would make a meaningful difference to their life.
Some of the people I saw shilling and farming Pacmoon are hating on Loudio. Maybe there’s a big difference between the two, but I don’t get it.
Basically all of this is going to zero at the end of the day, nobody is scamming or getting scammed, it’s a free market and if some people want to buy it after the drop then more power to them. I think they’ll lose money but who freaking knows.
TLDR, it’s weird to judge people trying to make a bag. I kinda get it for the accounts with 100k+ followers and 7-8 figures in public crypto wallets, but even then, feels weird. Who knows their situation, or what they’ll do with the funds. Some people are rekt by tax, others have medical debt, others have families to support, others have charities to donate to, etc.
Complaining about it isn’t gonna fix it either, it’s just adding more fuel to the attention fire lol. If you’re really truly against it, just mute/block/unfollow people and move on with your life imo
And I get it’s annoying to open the TL and see nothing but Loudio but that’s why the mute word option exists.
Crypto is such an insanely degenerate place that all you have to do is literally not scam people and everyone is like “ohhhh wow thank you you’re such a great person for our space”
I’ve been whittling my portfolio size down slowly and steadily over the last yearish — both from the perspective of % allocated to crypto, as well as overall total number of crypto positions
Have never felt better tbh, including times when I had a significantly larger total net worth
Less is more, being diversified outside of crypto is inportant, and peace of mind is everything
